Research & Data Analytics
CDM has deep expertise and experience collaborating with government agencies on program data analytics, data reporting, and survey methodologies, along with conducting research designed to shape and enhance health care programs and policies. From addressing underage drinking to responding to COVID-19, CDM provides reliable, objective, accurate, and evidence-based results.
Our public health, legal, and social science researchers create study designs, implement primary data collection and secondary data acquisition, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to reveal insights and best practices. Our experience and programs demonstrate the breadth of our capabilities in:
- Using robust research design and reporting methodologies to study the impacts of programs and policies.
- Developing and administering surveys, including sampling, survey and data management, quality assurance and control, and analysis and reporting on studies examining hard to reach populations including youth, disenfranchised populations, and those living with physical or with behavioral health conditions, including mental health and substance use disorders.
- Conducting qualitative data collection and analysis using focus groups, in-depth interviews, and other observational data collection techniques (virtually or in-person).
- Creating dashboards and visualizations to assist program administrators with ongoing data monitoring and reporting.
- Evaluating and integrating data from multiple sources to create data warehouses that facilitate reporting and analytics.
